Improved Traffic Safety:
Activated 5 essential traffic lights to protect drivers, pedestrians, and families.
Constituent Service:
Responded to more than 600 constituent calls, helping residents navigate city services and resolve issues.


Infrastructure Investment:
Secured $14+ million for streets, sidewalks, and critical infrastructure improvements in District 5.
Street Improvements:
Delivered 12 paving, concrete repair, and slurry seal projects across Southeast Fresno.


Neighborhood Beautification:
Completed 6 landscaping and tree-trimming projects to improve safety and curb appeal.
Public Transit Expansion:
Added 2 new bus routes, including Route 29 — a new crosstown connection.


Community Parks:
Helped fund the 49-acre Southeast Fresno Sports Complex with $8.5 million in ARPA funds.
Job Creation:
Advanced with Fancher Creek Shopping Center, bringing Target, Sprouts, and In-N-Out
(370 total new jobs).


César Chávez Improvements:
Repaved 1.5 miles of César Chávez Boulevard, from Orange to Chestnut — the heart of District 5.
Clean & Safe Neighborhoods:
Hosted multiple district-wide cleanups to keep communities clean and welcoming.


Community Support:
Connected 500+ families to city resources through local community events.
Community Engagement:
Met directly with 600+ residents at neighborhood and community meetings.


Food Security:
Launched first annual Turkey giveaway, providing 400+ Thanksgiving meals with turkeys, hams, and produce.
Student Support:
Hosted the first annual Backpack Giveaway, distributing 1,000+ backpacks and school supplies to local students.
